Summary: This test was conducted for a total of about 800km for both the standard 4-speed gearbox (1600GT4) and the optional 5-speed gearbox (GT5). The GT5 was a very early production model, while the GT4 was the latest production model, so there were differences in other details besides the gearbox. I will discuss this later, but the conclusion is that as far as the gearbox is concerned, both cars have their pros and cons, but the GT4 is more suitable for general use mainly in urban areas, while driving enthusiasts should choose the GT5 even if it means some inconvenience.
